Alzheimer's caregivers often struggle alone for years with very little support. But now in Fountain Valley we can meet and help each other, share ideas and solutions, talk about resources and doctors, and any number of issues that are unique to caregiving for dementia.

The mission of the Long Beach Time Exchange is to build and strengthen relationships within the city of Long Beach by connecting people’s unmet needs and untapped resources. We do this through the use of “time banking,” a system in which members give and receive services and skills using “time dollars,” a community currency that uses time as an indicator of value.
