I provided in-home support to my parents, grandparents and friends for over 27 years. Now that they have transitioned, I find myself with a bounty of experience I wish to share with fellow caregivers. Healthcare providers, caregivers and family members would benefit from attending and sharing their experiences in order to address the many issues care givers face today.

After so many wonderful years of admiring my mom age actively and beautifully she now has become the needy person she never wanted to be. I'd thought that once my children were grown I'd finally have the freedom to put myself first. It's not happening that way. I know I'm not alone and would like to find a support group so we can gain strength from each other during this difficult passage.
